This bag was created jointly between H*rmes CEO Jean-Louis Dumas and the actress Jane Birkin for whom the bag is named after. Jane Birkin was gifted the first Birkin bag in 1984. Considered to be the original, the classic, utterly timeless and the workhorse of the sizes, the 35cm might be better suited for someone with a tall, statuesque frame or someone who carries a lot of stuff.
